intersight.OsConfigurationFile
Explore with Pulumi AI
A ConfigurationFile is an OS specific answer file that helps with the unattended installation. The file can also be a template file with placeholders instead of actual answers. Intersight supports the golang template syntax specified in https://golang.org/pkg/text/template/. The template supports placeholders for all the properties of os.Answers MO type as well as any additional user-defined properties. The values for these placeholders shall be given during OS installation in the form of os.Answers type and ‘additionalProperties’ in os.OsInstall object.

OsConfigurationFile Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The OsConfigurationFile resource accepts the following input properties:
- AccountMoid string
- (ReadOnly) The Account ID for this managed object.
- AdditionalProperties string
- Ancestors
List<OsConfiguration File Ancestor>
- (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Catalogs
List<OsConfiguration File Catalog>
- A reference to a osCatalog resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- ClassId string
- The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. This property is used as a discriminator to identify the type of the payload when marshaling and unmarshaling data.
- CreateTime string
- (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was created.
- Description string
- Description of the OS ConfigurationFile.
- Distributions
List<OsConfiguration File Distribution>
- An array of relationships to hclOperatingSystem resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- DomainGroup stringMoid
- (ReadOnly) The DomainGroup ID for this managed object.
- FileContent string
- The content of the entire configuration file is stored as value. The contentcan either be a static file content or a template content. The template is expected to conform to the golang template syntax. The valuesfrom os.Answers properties will be used to populate this template.
- Internal bool
- The internal flag is set to true when configuration file is uploaded from OS Install wizard. Internal Configuration files will not be displayed in Answer Management Page.
- ModTime string
- (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was last modified.
- Moid string
- The unique identifier of this Managed Object instance.
- Name string
- The name of the OS ConfigurationFile that uniquely identifies the configuration file.
- ObjectType string
- The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. The value should be the same as the 'ClassId' property.
- OsConfiguration stringFile Id
- Owners List<string>
- (Array of schema.TypeString) -(ReadOnly)
- Parents
List<OsConfiguration File Parent>

Users can use this property to differentiate the scope (global or a specific license tier) to which a shared MO belongs.
- Supported bool

If 'selector' is set and 'moid' is empty/absent from the request, Intersight determines the Moid of theresource matching the filter expression and populates it in the MoRef that is part of the objectinstance being inserted/updated to fulfill the REST request. An error is returned if the filter matches zero or more than one REST resource. An example filter string is: Serial eq '3AA8B7T11'.
